Youth & Young Adults Development /Leadership Programs

First Line Strategies Unlimited (FLSU) was formed to serve the unique needs of male and female youth between 18-24 years of age to focus their energies on positive activities, leading to increased self-efficacy, self-esteem, and the development of the necessary life skills and interventions needed to succeed in adulthood, in their community, neighborhoods and the workplace by enriching their lives and decision-making strategies.  In partnership with educational and training organizations, FLSU also supports learning opportunities for individuals across the lifespan.

Program 1

Gang prevention/ intervention program

Therapy- Gang (YLP-G) is our gang prevention/intervention program that is designed to impact youth who are gang-involved or at risk of involvement. The intervention focuses on the family and directly addresses criminogenic risk factors that are often more prominent in a gang population than in a more general delinquent population.

Family probation and parole juvenile justice case management

First Line Strategies Unlimited,Inc (Youth Leadership Program) is our Family Probation and Parole which is our juvenile justice case management program for youth who are on supervision in the community. Probation counselors, parole officers, and other juvenile justice community staff help and play key roles in whether a change program is successful or not.

First Line Strategies Unlimited,Inc (Youth Leadership Program) enhances motivation with juvenile justice-involved youth and families via specific intervention techniques, that link them to individualized programs, and encourage sustainable change that continues beyond case closure.

Family Therapy program

First Line Strategies Unlimited,Inc (Youth Leadership Program) is our Family Therapy program which is an effective, short-term evidence-based family counseling service designed for 11-to-18-year-old youth who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems.

First Line Strategies Unlimited,Inc. (Youth Leadership Program) works with a young person’s entire family and extrafamilial influences to facilitate positive growth and development. Our effectiveness stems from the idea that families are not identical—they all have a unique set of circumstances, so our treatment plans are individualized to fit the specific needs of youth and their families.

Returning Ex-Offenders Supportive Services Program

Provides supportive program services for individuals men and women between the ages of 18 and upward that is currently or pending release from correctional institutions in providing guidance in selecting outpatient treatment with mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, educational opportunities, job training programs and develop independent life skills necessary to sustain a lifestyle of recovery., to be productive citizens include development / wellness enrichment workshop and training for safer communities,, neighborhood’s for our children, families and friends.
